The editor is the main tool you use to create and write effective, dynamic, and engaging messages for your customers. It is packed with many features that allow you to use it for a variety of purposes, from sending simple messages to creating complex journeys that guide your customers through a series of steps.

It has different tools that enable you to enrich the message with attachments(images, videos, etc), emojis, links, sharing contact cards, and more. This guide is for people who want to know the various features of the editor and how to use them effectively.

How to format your messages

The editor supports a variety of formatting options that allow you to create visually appealing messages. Here are some of the formatting options available:

Bold

To make a text section bold, select the piece of text you want to format, and click on the shortcuts,

  • Ctrl + B on Windows
  • ⌘ Command + B on Mac

Italic

To make a text section italic, select the piece of text you want to format, and click on the shortcuts,

  • Ctrl + I on Windows
  • ⌘ Command + I on Mac

Links are created by using the link element in the Editor. The link element is a special element that allows you to create a link that can be embedded in your message. The link element has the following icon and is located in the Editor’s toolbar. You can open the link tool through these shortcuts,

  • Ctrl + K on Windows
  • ⌘ Command + K on Mac
